Philosophy...

Worship is at the heart of our praise team. We believe the primary purpose of a praise team is to foster a worshipful congregation. Our worship team is a modular group of God loving and music loving individuals with the heart to share the love of Christ through our music.

Be A Team Member...

We welcome everyone to volunteer to be a part of our worship team. Volunteers can be a part of the tech crew, handling the equipment, set-up and take-down as well as audio engineering the worship service as well as be a part of the praise team (audition required).

Time...

Our rehearsals varies each week depending on the availability of the group. We generally meet Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday in the evening for our Contemporary services at 7pm to 8:30pm and on Thursday night from 6:00pm to 7:30pm the week prior to our blended worship service. We rehearse with the Chancel Choir and Children Choir at 7pm on the Thursday before blended worship service on the All Church Choir anthem.

On Sunday mornings of blended worship services, we arrive around 8:45am to begin set up and start rehearsal at 9am to 9:40am. At 9:45am, we have an open rehearsal for members of the congregation who arrive early to learn the new songs we are singing before beginning worship service at 10am.

For all other Sunday's contemporary services, we arrive at 8am to begin set up and start rehearsal at 8:15am to 8:40am. At 8:45, we have an open open rehearsal for members of the congregation who arrive early to learn the new songs we are singing before beginning worship service at 9am.

What to expect...

We have a lot of fun at the rehearsals. We also understand that everyone has busy schedules to keep so we keep things moving along to get all our work done. We do expect that individuals come prepared having the songs learned so that they are ready to go.

We also maintain Christ and worship focused in what we do. We value everyone's contribution and work collaboratively as a team to better serve our God and our church and her congregants. We stay positive and worshipful in our approach as we practice the songs we are to lead.

Techs volunteers work together as a team to help maintain the equipments as well as set-up and take-down. Techs also work at our tech booth to make sure the audio and visual aspects of our services are working properly and smoothly.

We hope that you will join us in our work here to serve God.
